True is from our 2016 Brady x Fen litter and has truly been a dog of a lifetime.  True has good bone and substance, a strong and powerful rear and very nice front angulation.  She is very brave and bold, with excellent drive in the field and has just the best temperament, she is friendly and outgoing to everyone she meets.

True has had an amazing career in the show ring and the field, and is exclusively breeder-owner trained and handled.  Her offspring are proving to be as talented as their mother; son Revel made the National Field Trial Derby List and is the High Point Chesapeake Derby Dog for 2022 and her daughter Tulla was Winners at the AKC National Championship and finished her Championship with four straight Major Wins as well as Field Trial Derby placements.

Here are a few of True’s accomplishments so far:

  • Earned her International Championship (Puppy) in one weekend, picking up a Puppy Group 1st and two Puppy Group 2nds.
  • Passed her ACC Working Dog Test at six months old.
  • Earned the Triple Crown Versatility Award at the 2016 National Specialty Show at just seven months old, the youngest dog in ACC history to receive it.
  • Passed 4 straight HRC Started Hunt Tests to earn her SHR title, owner trained and handled.
  • Earned her 2nd Triple Crown Versatility Award at the 2017 National Specialty Show at eighteen months old, with placements in Conformation, Dock Diving, Obedience and Rally.
  • Earned her Rally Novice (RN) and Beginner Novice Obedience (BN) titles with qualifying scores each time she entered.
  • Finished her conformation Championship easily from the Bred-By class with 3 major wins and multiple BOB/BOS wins over Specials, including a Major Win going BOS over top ranked Specials at the Royal Canin/AKC National Championship shows.
  • First Chesapeake Bay Retriever to earn the AKC Achiever Dog Certificate.
  • Earned her Junior Hunter (JH) title with 4 straight passes, owner trained and handled.
  • #1 NOHS Chesapeake for 2019, 2020, 2021 and a Top Ten Dog from 2018-2023.
  • Won the NOHS Finals at the AKC National Championships in 2020 and 2021.
  • Lifetime High Point NOHS Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
  • First Chesapeake Bay Retriever to earn NOHS Platinum.
